Leaving on a Jet Plane…

Most people assume, when they find out we travel full-time, that our life is just one big vacation. The truth is, our life is no different than anyone else’s. We tackle the same issues others do, we just do it from many different places. We still clean house, do laundry, cook meals, pay bills, pay taxes, have the vehicles serviced etc. It is not a long vacation, it is just a life-style. It’s not for everyone but for those of us that live it, it is a fabulous life.

Once in awhile, even we need a vacation :) We’ve been planning our vacation for several months and the time has finally arrived! Some of you may remember that our daughter, Nicole, lives in Florence, Italy. This is her 3rd year there and we are finally going to visit her! Tomorrow morning, we will be driving to Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston to board our KLM flight which will take us direct to Amsterdam and then on to Venice.

Our trip will begin in Venice and we’ll meander throughout Italy over a period of 3 weeks. To say we are excited is an understatement. I’ve loaded up with extra SD cards for the camera and packed my little netbook. My intention is to try to put up a few blog posts while we’re there. Much will depend on time and the availability of good wifi, but I will sure try to keep you all updated on how the trip is going.

In the meantime, rest assured we’ll be enjoying some very good food

spaghetti

and some very good wine Winking smile
